Services Offered
Pediatric Physical therapists evaluate and treat patients with physical and neurological deficits from birth to 21 years old. Treatment of the infant and child is through a developmental approach, similar to the physical progression of a child in learning to roll over in bed, to sit up, to crawl, to walk, to jump and to run.
Pediatric Occupational Therapy includes the services necessary to address the functional needs of children related to sensory, fine and gross motor, developmental milestones, adaptive behavior and play. The intent of these services is to assist in the improvement of a child's functional ability to perform tasks in home, school and community settings.
Speech Language Pathology services, provide services to children birth to age 21, who have delays/disorders in the areas of receptive and expressive language, speech production, fluency and swallowing difficulties. Evaluations of skills in these areas are performed to determine current skill levels and appropriate goals for intervention.
